Show Notes

Despite his inability to recognize a good cup of coffee, I’ve still chosen to invite the tea-loving Englishman, Mike Thakur, onto the show today. Mike is the founder and CEO of The Worklodge, a Texas-based co-working space.

Their team is on a mission far greater than having the coolest new swag or local beer on tap. They’re on a greater mission to change the world and be the hands and feet of Jesus. And I’ve asked Mike to walk us through what it actually looks like to run a kingdom-minded business.

The Apostle Paul made tents, and he did it to be an example to ministry leaders. By making tents in the marketplace, he was placing himself in the best place possible to make the biggest impact possible.

The current model of church, mission, and ministry has developed non-profit and church leaders into modern-day beggars. Why would we think that's the best we can have when there are capable people in the workplace who can do so much more? What if businesses could be more involved in changing the world for the sake of the Gospel?
